Through our Medical Assistant Trainee Program, in partnership with Central Oregon Community College, selected candidates can have their tuition fully covered while earning their Medical Assistant certification. This is more than a training program, it's a direct pathway into a meaningful healthcare career.

What We Offer

  • Full Tuition Coverage for either:
    • Accelerated two-term program
    • Traditional three-term program
  • Guaranteed MA Position with St. Charles upon graduation and certification
  • A long-term career pathway within our health system.

Your Commitment
  • In exchange for tuition support, participants commit to:
    • Successfully completing the MA Training Program
    • Obtaining MA Certification
    • Working as a CMA with St. Charles Health System for two years.
  • After certification, you may complete your two-year commitment at any St. Charles Clinic location with open positions.

Work While You Learn
While enrolled at COCC, students may:
  • Work in a part-time or relief position at St. Charles, or
  • Work outside of St. Charles while completing the program.

Program Details: 
  • Supplemental and prerequisite coursework must be completed prior to starting the program.
  • Classes begin in Summer and Fall terms
  • Once accepted, attendance at every class is mandatory
