Critical Care Services
Critical care services feature high-level multi-specialty trauma teams, an advanced cardiothoracic program and a Gold Plus stroke center that provide patient-centered care to a service area covering 38,000 square miles.
Perioperative Services
Perioperative and cardiovascular services comprise a variety of departments including medical diagnostics, operating rooms, a short stay unit, peri- and post-anesthesia, pre-surgery, and cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology and interventional radiology labs.
Acute Care Services
Acute care services includes our medical, surgical, orthopedic, neurologic, behavioral health and medical surgical float teams. Expert care is provided across the continuum as our patients rely on us to meet them wherever they are on the spectrum of health. We are a Joint Commission-designated Stroke Center of Excellence and carry the distinction of being a designated MBSAQIP-accredited bariatric surgery center.
Level III NICU
As the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in our 38,000-square mile service area, we provide expert care for fragile newborns from our Family Birthing Centers as well as babies transferred from hospitals across Central and Eastern Oregon.
Emergency Department
Our Emergency departments provide 24/7 specialized care to patients during their emergency visit through discharge or hospitalization. St. Charles Bend is a Level II Trauma Center, which serves as our regional trauma center and the only trauma center east of Oregon’s Cascade Mountains. The Emergency Departments at St. Charles Redmond, St. Charles Prineville and St. Charles Madras serve surrounding communities as Level IV Trauma Centers.
