Madras

St. Charles Madras, previously Mountain View Hospital, first opened its doors in 1967. The hospital worked closely with St. Charles Health System through a management agreement for many years before formally joining the St. Charles system in 2013.

St. Charles Madras is a critical access hospital with 25 licensed beds and 240 employees. The hospital provides surgical services, imaging, intensive care, a Family Birthing Center, medical and emergency care and an outpatient laboratory.

"The people are so nice and welcoming. Many people who come to work here are pleasantly surprised at how much they like working for a smaller hospital. Try it out! We will have fun!" - Terah F., RN in the Med/Surg unit of St. Charles Madras

Prineville

Prineville, Oregon was established in 1880 as a farming and ranching community and holds true to these roots today. Although the town has grown to more than 10,000 people, it still maintains its small-town charm. The people who live here LOVE their community.

The 62,000 sq. ft. St. Charles Prineville campus opened on Sept. 21, 2015 and offers a wide range of patient, family and visitor services including primary care and specialty care clinics, Emergency Department, Lab, Radiology and Rehab.

"For me as the outpatient physical therapist in the rural setting it is rewarding to be able to provide the community care and be attentive to their overall needs. The physician team here at St. Charles works well with our outpatient team to address the needs of the patient. Also, just as a provider, it is nice to see a wide breadth of patients and keep my skills sharp working with those of all ages and all diagnoses." - Danny B., physical therapist in Prineville

Sisters

Sisters, Oregon, is named for the Three Sisters of the Cascade Mountain Range: Faith, Hope and Charity. The alluring charm of this small town includes a family-friendly atmosphere, creative arts festivals and outdoor sporting events. The 281,000-plus acres of wilderness with stunning views provide opportunities for outdoor adventure and explorations. You will find trails lined with wildflowers and mountain lakes with various adventure opportunities, including hiking, skiing, kayaking and more.

"Growing up in a small town myself, it is a privilege to be able to provide care to a smaller community such as Sisters. As a team, we get to work with patients of all ages and stages in their lives to help manage chronic illness and acute needs, but also to focus on preventive care and keeping people as healthy as possible." - Dr. Lied, physician at St. Charles Family Care in Sisters.
